Welcome to gardenearth.be an online edu-network dedicated to sharing information about ReGardening and The Garden Earth Project.
The Garden Earth Project:
The purpose of the Garden Earth Project is to regenerate the earth's natural garden state through establishing permanent food gardens.
A permanent food garden is a garden that renews, regenerates, reproduces, replants itself, becoming ever more lush and abundant year after year. The video to the left of this page shares an example of a permanent food garden in Vietnam that was visited by Australian permaculturist Geoff Lawton.
While living in climate specific permanent food gardens, such as this Vietnamese garden, used to be the norm, memory of these gardens has been virtually forgotten by a large segment of the earths population. The Garden Earth Project has been founded to remind us these gardens are our heritage, that a rare few still exist, and to teach methods and practices conducive to re-establishing new ones throughout the globe.
ReGardening:
ReGardening is an integrative gardening method for establishing permanent food gardens that is highly cost, labor and energy efficient.
